When do I pay?
Payment is due upon booking.
Something came up and I can't make it to the scheduled group class...
Lesson fees are non-refundable, but we will give you a credit for 50% of the missed class(s) which can be applied towards the cost of a private lesson or another group series. We wish we could give you 100% refund, however we have to pay the studio fees/facility rental.
What should I wear?
Clothing, Ladies:
If you choose to wear a skirt or dress, please take a few steps back from a mirror and spin around. If you can see anything you don't want other people seeing, we suggest putting on a pair of athletic shorts underneath. Please don't feel like you have to dress up unless you want to. Jeans are perfectly acceptable in my classes. Also, please look straight down at your chest. Your partners will typically be taller than you, so this is the view they'll be getting. Adjust based on personal comfort.
Shoes, Ladies:
Make sure your shoes have some sort of strap around your heel. We do a lot of walking backwards and you don't want to be walking out of your shoes.
Shoes, Ladies and Gentlemen:
Make sure you can "spin" in your shoes. Many shoes with rubber soles "stick" to the floor when you try to turn your foot, when can make dancing more challenging. If you don't have any shoes that will work, bring along a clean pair of socks to dance in.
Hygiene, Men and Women:
Please wear deodorant and consider bringing breath mints or brushing your teeth before class. Your partners will be grateful.
